Clay heals and creates. Workshops at Maidenhair Studio are about putting intentions into clay and searing the energy into art pieces through firing. Class sessions are designed to create uplifting energy as well as remove unwanted.

Students have a unique opportunity to release experiences, thoughts and emotions that generate blocks and in the process create healing movement of energy throughout their own life. Students also learn to create personal, light-filled ceramic pieces that embody their own prayers, wishes and visions.

Maidenhair Studio has a variety of firing methods for students including wood, sawdust and electric. While the electric kiln is sometimes employed for practical reasons, Susan’s experience is that participation in firing with wood or sawdust is effective because the maker has a direct hand in generating solidification of his or her intentions.

Creating energetic clearing with clay reflects what Einstein and modern physics confirm: that the essence of all things- thoughts, experiences, old patterns that create ill health and blocks can be transformed.
